2009 Pinot Noir
ANDERSON VALLEY, HAYLEY VINEYARD
This wine expresses beautiful layers of red berry fruit with hints of earth, cola and spice. The nose opens up in the glass showing cranberry, cherry and strawberry notes. Well integrated oak provides structure as a solid oceanic acidity drives to a lush and lingering finish.

Tasting Notes
This wine expresses beautiful layers of red berry fruit with hints of earth, cola and spice. The nose opens up in the glass showing cranberry, cherry and strawberry notes. Well integrated oak provides structure as a solid oceanic acidity drives to a lush and lingering finish. -- CN
Brilliant ruby in color, vibrant and alive. On the nose, subtle notes of cinder box, spicy tobacco and forest floor give way to ripe plum, cherry pie and brambly raspberry. Juicy acidity on entry carries fresh accents of wild berries, plum and lavender, allspice, cola, and more cherries across the mid-palate. Mouthfeel is round and balanced, with tannins that sail on to a long, supple finish. This wine is elegant and finessed, but has the structure to lay down for 5 to 10 years. Great with food, delicious on its own. -- AS
About Hayley Vineyard
The fog and cool temperatures that push in from the Pacific make Hayley Vineyard an ideal location for growing Pinot Noir. Located halfway between Boonville and Philo in Anderson Valley, this 34-acre site is planted to Dijon clones 115, 667 and 777 along with small amounts of Pommard and Martini. In 2007, management of the vineyard was taken over by Premier Pacific Vineyards, a spare-no-expense viticulture team with whom we are proud to be affiliated.
